It’s enough to make anyone cringe. My grandmother, like so many from her generation, had a remedy for almost everything. As a child, I didn’t believe half of what she told me. I’d roll my eyes, mutter that it couldn’t possibly work. But over the years, I’ve learned that some of Grandma’s old tricks weren’t so silly after all.
